Fabricated from clear acrylic sheet and a textured frosted effect applied.

Client:Studio SDA

Concept light.

Base was machined from solid acrylic and polished. The diffuser was fabricated from acrylic sheet heat formed and frosted. Orange doughnut heat formed and spray painted.

 

Client: Raffo Design

Working model of a water purification system developed for the armed services to use out in the field where fresh drinking water is unavailable.

Base and top made from glass fibre and resin. Actual components were fitted to the mouldings and taken for testing.

Large block appearance model of a new concept for analytical sampling.

The main carcase is hand carved from ciba tool model board, the lift up lids were made in sections and bonded together were then hand finished to the correct curvature.

This model stands about waist height.

Client: Mission Cyrus

A fully working engineering Pro Portable computer.

All components were fabricated from acrylic sheet using using good old fashion engineering drawings.

All drawing tolerances had to be adhered to enable the correct fit of electronic components.

UVIC Gas Analyser
This model was produced using the rimcast process.

A pattern was produced to create the outside shape, the inside was cored out and wall sections added to create compartments for the electronics.

This model was fully working and was produced in a small batch quantity.

Train Cab Refurbishment.
This model under went a cosmetic face lift around the buffer area and was repainted in the latest British Rail colours.

Client: Rim cast

The top section of the model was produced by making two solid block models less a material thickness. It was then cast using the rimcast process to produce two hollow shells.

These were the fitted with bosses wall sections and recast to form an actual pattern from which moulds  could be made to then provide the client with 100’s of working products.

This model was an appearance model for Britta water filters.

A male former was produced for each half of the jug, acrylic sheet was heat formed around trimmed to size and bonded together.

The white filter section was machined from solid.
